John Norman
The author of the Gor novels is John Norman, also known to the world at large as John Frederick Lange, Jr., Ph.D. (3 June 1931 - present). He appears fairly regularly at east coast science fiction conventions, sometimes accompanied by his wife.Professionally, John Lange has been an Associate Professor of Philosophy at Queens College, CUNY
